Bill Valentine, Sr., age 72 of McCalla, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2019. He was an avid hunter. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Cork; parents, John and Helen Valentine; brothers, Johnny and Tommy Valentine; sister, Diane Valentine. Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy Valentine; sons, Bill (Sharon) Valentine and Lance (Christy) Valentine; daughter, Christina (Leon) Washington; grandchildren, Shanna Valentine, Ryan Briones Lance Valentine, Jr., Lakin Briones, Lacey Valentine, Sydney Cork and Dylan Carroll; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family members. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5 PM until 7 PM at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11 AM at Mt.
