Obituary for Bill Stockton ARLINGTON — Bill Stockton passed away on January 20, 2019 after a sudden fight with pancreatic cancer. His wife and children were at his side. Celebration of Life: Saturday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at The Church on Rush Creek, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Help One Now (helponenow.org), P.O. Box 26716, Raleigh, NC 27611. Bill was born on January 26, 1946 in Fort Worth, TX to A.W. and Martha Stockton. For nearly 73 years, this man loved deeply and he is deeply loved by all who knew him. Bill was a man of service, sacrifice and devotion. He was humble and steady. If you needed someone to count on, you could always count on Bill. He was a loyal son, a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather, and a faithful friend. Bill’s life was a beautiful example of the Gospel at work, in him and through him. He will be dearly missed. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his sons, Topher and Lamar; his daughters, Suzannah and Joanne; and 8 wonderful grandchildren.
