Betty Jean Glover passed away on Tuesday, January 15, at Oakwood Specialty Care in Albia, Iowa after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Betty was born September 10, 1934 in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Urcle and Virgie Strobel Hubbartt. She was united in marriage to Ernest Upshaw in 1958 in California. They had two children, Debbie and Mark, and later divorced. Betty later married Marshal Glover. Betty loved animals and nature. She drove a tour bus in California for many years, before moving back to Davis County. Betty is survived by a niece, Lynn Bly, of Cedar Rapids and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her children, Debbie and Mark; her sister, Mary Jane Foster; brother-in-law, Clifford Foster; and her parents. The body has been cremated and there will be no service.
