Ashenfelder 97 of Elizabethtown died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Mrs. Ashenfelder was born in Erie and was the daughter of the late Delvin and Viola Smith. She attended St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Linglestown. She belonged to numerous masonic organizations in the Harrisburg area. Mrs. Ashenfelder was the widow of William S. Ashenfelder, Sr. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Betty Jane Riley and her brother Burnell Smith. Mrs. Ashenfelder is survived by her daughter, Judith E. (Donald) Daggett of Lancaster; her son, William S. Ashenfelder, Jr. of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A procession will form behind the administration building at 11:15 A.M. Memorial Contributions may be made to Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, Pa. 17022. Arrangements are by the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Harrisburg.
