OBITUARY Audrey Mildred Guilmette March 20, 1926 – January 10, 2019 Audrey M. Guilmette, local resident of Merced, California of 51 years, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2019, at the age 92 . Audrey is preceded in death by her late parents, Chester and Effie Pierce of Kennebunk, Maine; her husband Jean R. Guilmette and several siblings. Audrey is survived by her two sons, Robert (Rosita) Guilmette of Sanford, Maine, Richard (Shirley) Guilmette of Kingman, Arizona. Audrey was a native of Kennebunk, Maine where she was raised by her parents and with her 16 siblings. She then married the love of her life Jean R. Guilmette who served in the Armed Forces and moved their young family to Merced where he retired. Audrey and Jean had their two sons, Robert and Richard. She also has 9 grandchildren left behind to cherish her memory. She loved children of all ages. She was a caregiver to many local children over the years. Where her husband Jean made a room off their residence where she could care for them on a daily basis.
