Anthonia’s Obituary Carol Fields was born on March 1, 1949 to the parentage of Lonzo Bill Estes and Eva Jane Porter, in Teague TX. She was raised in Teague where she attended JA Brooks Elementary and Teague High School. In her senior year she moved to Dallas, TX where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married PG Brown, and to that union 3 children were born. She later married Samuel W. Fields and to that union 1 child was born. Carol accepted Christ at a young age. For 40+ years she attended Evangel Temple Church where she served as an ETC choir member. She also served on the Usher Board. She was a Sunday School Teacher as well as worked with the Youth Dept, Joyful Singers, Tempelites and was a member of the Decorating Committee. Carol loved to decorate. She was the Head Decorator for Tom Thumb and Target. She also worked for Neiman Marcus. After Carol retired, she started fostering. It too was what she loved to do and did it until God called her home. She made a huge difference in over 63 children’s lives. On Wednesday January 9, 2019 (her mothers’ birthday) Carol entered into her eternal home of Glory. Preceding her in death are both of her parents, two uncles, Grandmother Georgia Porter, one brother, Willie Ray Estes, and one sister, Louvenia Rice. Carol leaves to forever cherish her life her husband of 33 years Samuel W.
