Annie’s Obituary Mrs. Annie Lee Sanford, age 74, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Sanford was born in Rome, GA on March 8, 1944, daughter of the late John Taylor Ingram and the late Beulah Beatrice Sisson Ingram. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lamar Sanford, and by her sister, Wanda Boyd. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Sanford of Canton; her two sons, Eddie Sanford (Leigh Ann) of Rome and Jason Lance Sanford of Rome; her grandchildren, William Sanford and Destiny Sanford; her brother, Larry Ingram; her sisters, Charlene Hyde and Linda Blair (Wayne); her brother-in-law, Jerry Boyd; her sisters-in-law, Marie Hodges (Darrell) and Margarite Carney; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Adrian Craig and the Rev. David Pilgrim officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and are requested to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Friday at 10:30 am and include: Dane Eldridge, Anthony Fox, Larry Ingram, Jr., Johnny Boyd, Rodney Willingham, and Storm Willingham.
