Mr. Savant is survived by his grandchildren, Kevin Savant and Alexis Jackson both of Opelousas, LA; three great grandchildren, Jada Fields, Sanaa and Sah’Mari Savant; a sister, Dorothy Achen of Beaumont, TX; a brother, Ferlis Ellis of Houston, TX; a special niece, Shirley Esprit of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Savant was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Savant; a son, John Kenneth Savant; parents, Charles & Frances Savant; a brother, Peter Savant; two sisters, Georgiana Savant and Millie Esprit.
