Alicia Sambrano Ornelas, 67, of Wauchula, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hardee Manor. She was born in Shelby, Michigan on July 31, 1951. She has been a resident of Hardee County for most of her life. Alicia was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wauchula, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sesario and Marta Sambrano. Survivors include her loving husband Antonio Ornelas of Bowling Green, Fl., Sons Antonio Ornelas Jr. of Bowling Green, Fl.; Adam Ornelas (Eva) of Bowling Green, Fl., Daughters Gloria Rivera (Jose) of Frostproof, Fl.; Allene Gaitan (Santos) of Arcadia, Fl.; Cassandra Merchant of Sarasota,Fl.; Leslie Salazar of Lexington, SC. Brothers Oscar Sambrano of Wauchula, Fl.; Hector Sambrano of Clinton, Ok.; Rudy Sambrano of Clinton Ok.; Sesario Sambrano Jr. of Hydro, Ok. Sisters Gloria Gonzales of Zolfo Springs, Fl.; Elsa Sambrano of Wauchula, Fl. along as 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday February 1, 2019 at 12:00 with Services following at 1:00. Father Timothy Van Zee will be officiating services.
