Alfred L. Billow, age 85, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Ohio Living Swan Creek. He was born on April 27, 1933 to Carl and Mildred Billow. Al was a 1951 graduate of Napoleon High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Seaway Foodtown after 36 years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Waterville, Ohio. Al… Read More » is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary; children, Cheryl (Anita), Barbara (Barb Burger) and Brenda; grandchildren, Callie and Makayla; brother, Harlan (Lois) and special friend of the family, Deb Pfann. The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio Living Swan Creek for all they did for Al, especially the “A Team.” Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Additional visitation will be from 10-11 am on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church, 22 N. 2nd Street, Waterville, Ohio 43566 with the funeral services to follow at 11 am in the church. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to Transverse Myelitis Association, Zion Lutheran Church or Donor’s Choice.
