Loving Husband, Father,and Grandfather Waynesville-Wiley Wilburn Parker, 83, passed away on December 24, 2018 at Autumn Care. Wiley was a native of Haywood County and an Army Veteran. He retired from Dayco Products after 31 years of service. Wiley enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting. Many of his days he could be found outdoors caring for his cattle or his goats. He was preceded in death by parents, W.B. and Nettie Parker; sisters, Lucy Mull and Lilly Stockton; brothers, Frank, Hubert, Victor, John, Jim, and Willie Parker. Wiley is survived by his wife, Charlotte Smith Parker; daughter, Angela Lowdermilk and her husband, Woody of Hickory; son, Wiley Parker Jr. of Salem, SC; grandsons, Drew and Alex Lowdermilk, Zeb, Jeremiah, Ben, and Elijah Parker; Amber Parker and Kathy Castanon; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Haywood County Hospice. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
