Theresa Serdinow 1944 2018

Obituary of Theresa Serdinow Serdinow, Theresa A. Age 74 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born November 4, 1944 in Elmira, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Perrin) Paluskiewicz and passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gregory in 2004. She is survived by her loving goddaughter Joelle (Randy Bielski) Skorczewski of Lutherville, MD; cousins Joseph Skorczewski of Lutherville, MD, Barbara Skorczewski of Elmira Heights, Dawn (Lewis Kirshner) Skorczewski of Cambridge, MA, Tess (John) Kirsch of Los Angeles, CA, Diane Pedalty of Pine City, Stosh Kohan, Karen Kniffin and David Paluskiewicz all of Elmira; sister-in-law Nina Serdinow of Elmira Heights; dear friends Mimi and Nick Santone of Elmira. Theresa was a communicant of The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at St. Casimir’s Church. She was formerly employed with Westinghouse and retired from IST. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, December 4th from 4 to 6 pm. Prayers will be offered there on Wednesday, December 5th at 9:30 am, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Casimir’s Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Theresa through donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142
