Terri’s Obituary Click HERE for video tribute Memorial services for Terri Stockham, age 59, of Niobrara, Nebraska will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Verdigre, Nebraska. Pastor Martha Atkins will officiate, with burial at a later date. Terri died Monday, December 17, 2018, at her residence. Terri Jolyn Stockham, daughter of Lloyd, Sr. and Mona Stockham, was born March 16, 1959, at Kimball, Nebraska. She attended Northglenn High School in Northglenn, Colorado. During her high school years, Terri was involved in the Rodeo Club and played the accordion. During her last year of high school, she obtained her beautician’s license. Terri married Donne Sherman on December 12, 1982, in Anton, Colorado. They were blessed with one daughter, Jamie. Terri was the first female gas hauler for Amoco Oil Company in Denver, Colorado during the 1980’s. She worked for a few trucking companies until an on the job injury ended that career for her. Since then, Terri mingled into arts and crafts. She was a skilled painter and was honored with several awards. On and off through the years she operated floral businesses where she could showcase her talents. Over the last fifteen years, Terri helped with the Area Ducks Unlimited Chapter and was also a member of other wildlife organizations. She spent her days quilting and sewing. Terri was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was a member of various clubs and organizations throughout her lifetime including, 4-H, Girl Scouts, and Rodeo Clubs. Another joy in her life was her only granddaughter, Reagan. Terri is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Mike) Novacek of Verdigre, Nebraska; granddaughter, Reagan Novacek; mother, Mona Walker of Niobrara, Nebraska; sister, Lori Stockham on Niobrara; half-sister, Sherri Greenleaf of Bloomfield, New Mexico; half-brother, Lloyd Stockham, Jr. of Aztec, New Mexico; and nephews, Trevor, Cordell, and Landon Rouse of Niobrara.
