Obituary of Susan Lomot Susan (Sue) Marie Lomot age 54 of Amityville, LI died on December 21, 2018 following a three year battle with breast/brain cancer. She lived each day of her struggles with a loving hopeful outlook and smiles for all who came to be with her during her last illness. She was born and raised in Amityville, attended St. Martin of Tours Parochial School, a graduate of St. John the Baptist High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh. Sue was an avid volleyball player, enjoyed visiting the wineries on the east end of Long Island and loved going to St. John’s basketball games with her family and friends. Sue leaves behind her parents, Richard & Bunny Lomot, her brothers, Richard (Mary Kelly) Lomot and Brian Lomot and her sister Diane (Don) Penny. Also her godchildren, Justin LoBasso, Timothy Lomot and Matthew Lomot. She also leaves her Godfather Tom (Joan) Lomot and Godmother Pauline Lomot, her Aunt Dorothy Gomula and Aunt Mary (Dan) Callahan and her Great Uncle Al Schaefer and many other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Sue will be missed, especially her beautiful smile, by all that knew her and loved her. Reposing Wednesday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 am in St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Interment Trinity Cemetery, Amityville. The family has requested memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition, 218 N. Wellwood Ave., Suite #2,
