Auburn – Stewart B Gordon, 82 of Auburn died Friday December 14, 2018 at Betz Nursing home in Auburn. He was born February 25, 1936 in Rochester, New York. His father David Gordon and his mother Sonny (Levin) Shaffer have both passed away. He was also preceded in death by a brother Bernard Gordon. Stewart worked for Sears in the Sears Tower in Chicago then Owned and Operated the Sears Cataloge Store in Auburn for 11 years from 1982 to 1993, He then worked at Sears in Fort Wayne before retiring in 2004. He married Anna Delice Volentine on February 15, 1964 in Winter Haven, CA and she survives in Auburn. He is also survived by a daughter and 2 sons, Rebecca “Becky” Gordon of Garrett, Cris (Liz) Gordon of Columbus, OH and Kevin (Heather) Gordon of Wheaton, IL. There are 6 grandchildren, Nathan Gordon, Rebekah Gordon, Caleb Gordon, Lily Gordon, Megan Gordon and Matthew Gordon. The family will receive friends Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn from 1 to 3. The U. S. Navy and American Legion Post 97 of Auburn will perform military honors at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Memorials can be given in Stewart’s name to Alzheimer’s Association.
