Bailey, 82, of Cabot, passed away December 26, 2018 in North Little Rock. She was born July 1, 1936 in DeWitt, Arkansas to the late Joe and Mamie Wiggert Ax. She was employed by Arkansas Rehabilitation Services and retired as an administrator at North Metro Medical Center. Shirley was a member of Victory Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bailey; daughter, Tina Bailey; son, Mark Bailey; three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include sons, Joe Bailey of Cabot, Porter (Darlene) Bailey of Cabot and Wayne (Kim) Bailey of Jacksonville; two sisters, Joann Olmstead and Bobbi Cheryl Heffner of Heber Springs; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Inurnment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
