Obituary of Sherry Davis Sherry L. Davis, 63, LaFontaine, was called home surrounded by family at 2:38 p.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018, from a short battle with cancer. She was born in New Lebanon, OH, on April 14, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Novis James and Hattie Katherine (Ball) Harris. Sherry was a graduate of Eastbrook High School and was employed at Miller’s Merry Manor, as well as Café Valley. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, woodworking, and yardwork. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching Hallmark movies, NCIS, and Law and Order SVU. More than anything, though, Sherry loved being with her family and snuggling with her dogs and cats, Breann, Pooka, Calley, and Snuggles. Survivors include her children, Regina (Randy) Miller, LaFontaine, Jack (Kim) Davis III, Wabash, and Sherry Tichina Johnson, Marion, and her grandchildren, Morgan Miller, Makenzie Davis, and Zach Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Yuvonna Newman, and brothers, James Michael Harris and Danny E. Harris. There will be a Celebration of Life for Sherry on April 14, 2019. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
