Obituary for Sharon Marie Blust Everything happens for a reason, nothing by chance. When God called Sharon Marie Blust home on Friday, October 12, 2018, he did it for a reason. We have to hold onto our faith and believe that. Sharon passed away surrounded by her husband and children. She was 57 years old. Sharon was born June 11, 1961 to Thomas and Mary Durig. Sharon’s biggest accomplishments in life are her three children, whom she raised with the love of her life. Sharon was the best grandma ever, and adored all of her grandchildren. You could always find her shopping for her grandbabies, watching movies with them, baking cookies or making homemade ice cream with them. She loved having her kids and grandkids over for cookouts and going to garage sales with her husband. Family was her whole life. Sharon is survived by her husband and best friend, Mark, of 38 years; her three children, Brandi (Ricky) Hauger, Luke (Tessa) Blust, and Jesse (Allie) Blust; her grandchildren, Kylie, Ellie, Connor, Adelyn, James, Brody, Alaina; her parents, Thomas and Mary Durig; her brother, Steve Durig; her sister, Sandy (Danny) Mitchell; and lots of other family. She will be missed terribly. The family will gather to celebrate Sharon’s life on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio 44906. Memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 S. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
