Sharon L Faivre Kelchner 2018

Sharon L. Kelchner, 70, of Trout Run, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, in Fort Myers, Fla. Born April 4, 1948, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Ralph E. Faivre and the former Margaret Griswold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, R. Stanley Faivre. For many years she was a nurse’s aide and unit clerk at the Jersey Shore Hospital. Sharon was a member of the Cogan House Community Church, served on the Pine Township Planning Commission and was treasurer of Pine Creek Township. Her greatest joy and love of her life was her family. Surviving is her loving husband, Owen Wesley Kelchner; they were united in marriage on January 18, 1975; three sons, Seth O. (Robin) Kelchner, of Liberty, Owen Wesley II (Julie) Kelchner, of Fort Myers and Justin L. (Melanie) Kelchner, of Williamsport; a daughter, Celeste T. (Matthew) Baumgartner, of Trout Run; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sonia (Palmer) Wetzel, of Brookside. Sharon’s graduation into Heaven service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at The Door Fellowship Church, 470 Pine St., Williamsport. The Rev. Cleveland Way and the Rev. Matthew Holcomb will co-officiate. She will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at the Summit Cemetery at White Pine. Following the committal service, there will be a gathering and a time of food and fellowship at the Cogan House Community Church, 3782 Cogan House Road, Trout Run.
