Obituary for Russell Messer Russell Messer, age 53, of Loudon, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Roane Medical Center. He was an avid football fan, especially the Miami Dolphins and UT. He was a hard worker and was loved by many He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Messer; brothers, Roy Jr. and Chester Arthur Messer. Survivors include his mother, Lois Messer of Walland; daughter, Veronica Sue (Thomas) Whillock of Seymour; son, Christopher Aaron Messer of Midway; brothers, Lloyd and Jay Reese Messer; sister, Sue (Ted) McMannis; grandchildren, Wyatt, Marlee, Jack and Arabella; significant other, Kim Marshall. Graveside Ceremony will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Boyd’s Creek Cemetery, 1262 Jim Fain Road, Seymour, with Pastor Bruce Yates, of Seymour FBC officiating.
