Richard J. Bazewick, 83, from Johnson City NY passed away on December 15, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents; first wife Agnes J. Bazewick; brother Ronald Bazewick; sister Jeannine Murphy. He is survived by his daughter Mary (Joe) Sacco, Bryan (Linda) Bazewick, Richard Bazewick Jr, and Christopher Bazewick; grandchildren Joey (Victoria) Sacco, Jena Sacco and Kyle Smyder, Nicole Bazewick, Bryan Bazewick Jr and Kanon Bazewick; one great grandchild, Leighton Bazewick. Dick started his career at Crowley Foods and then owned the Oxford Inn, worked in the carpet business for over 40 years and had a 20-year career with Warehouse Carpet. He was a member of the Johnson City Elks club, and served as a member of the Army National Guard. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 4 until 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at STS. John and Andrew Church Binghamton, NY at 12 noon. Memorial Donations may be made to the Broome County Humane Society in Dick’s memory.
