Raymond Lester Teague, 67, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, December, 26, 2018. He was born on December 28, 1950 in Gaston County, NC to the late Mureal Teague and Inez Miller Teague. Raymond worked in the Trucking Industry for many years. He loved spending afternoons in the shade with his beloved cat Calico. He enjoyed car racing and golfing. Raymond was an active member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. Raymond is survived by his wife Wanda “Faye” Christian of Franklin; a sister, Hazel Teague McCall, (Jerry “Frog”) of Franklin, NC; Two brothers, Michael Teague of Franklin and Carter Teague of Highlands. Services will be held Saturday, December, 29, 2018 at Buck Creek Baptist Church. Family will receive visitation from 10:00am to 11:00 am. with the Reverend Jamie Passmore officiating the service at 11:00am. Burial will be in Buck Creek Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Johnny Stanfield, Harold Ammons, Matthew Fizer, Lonnie Cook, Larry Dills, Jamie Halyburton, and Michael Houston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory, 105 West Main Street, Franklin, NC, 28734.
