Memorial services for Raymond E. Geyer, 85, of Wellman, will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at the Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona, with Visitation from 9-11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date. In leiu of flowers (due to allergies) memorials have been established for the Windham Community Church and Hospice of Washington County. Raymond died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Parkview Home in Wellman. Raymond Edward Geyer was born September 13, 1933 in Keota, the son of Wilbur and Edna (Webster) Geyer. He married Mary Wine on July 25, 1985 in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Raymond served with the United States Army in the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver at Oxford Feed Mill and Amana Refrigeration as a press operator for 24 years. Survivors include his wife Mary; daughters, Audrey Geyer (Marengo) and special friend Mark Tolbert (Victor), Theresa Geyer (Cedar Rapids), Elizabeth Geyer (Cedar Rapids); sons, John (Jack) (Marcia) Geyer (Rapid City, SD), Kenneth Geyer (Parnell), Gregory (Trish) Geyer (Poulsbo, WA); sister, Donna (John) Isaacs (Iowa City); 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceeded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Richard and Wayne Geyer, sisters-in-law Anna May and Shirley Geyer, and stepson Douglas Adams.
