Obituary for Randy Brandenburg Randy Allen Brandenburg, 68, of Edgerton, KS passed away Dec. 1, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm Wed., Dec. 5, 2018 at Tumbleweed Saloon Bar and Grill, 615 E. Main St., Gardner, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com Randy was born Aug. 12, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to Luther and Patricia (Thurston) Brandenburg. He grew up in Shawnee Mission, KS where he graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. He moved to Edgerton, KS in 1976. Randy was a Local #10 Iron Worker. He worked all over Kansas and Texas before retiring in 2005. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing. He will be missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ina. Randy is survived by his son, Randy Brandenburg, Jr., Olathe, KS and daughter, Robin Packard, Weatherford, TX; former wife, Debbie Jean Brandenburg Glynn; brother, Ronnie Brandenburg, Leavenworth, KS and five grandchildren: Chandler, Carson, Ryann, Harlee and Coleman.
