OBITUARY Priscilla Lay June 25, 1943 – December 11, 2018 Priscilla A. “Pam” (Mohre) Lay passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. She was the wife of the late Samuel E. Lay. Pam was born in Wareham MA, daughter of the late Dave and Helen (Syvertsen) Mohre. As a lifelong Bourne resident, Pam graduated from the Bourne School System in 1961 where she started a 48 year career as the Administrative Assistant for the Bourne Superintendent of Schools. Throughout her career, Pam had the pleasure of working with four different Superintendents as well as many different Administrators, Teachers and Staff, many of which became life long friends. Pam cherished this opportunity until her retirement in 2009. Pam would enjoy her free time entertaining, vacationing with friends, meticulously maintaining her home and gardens, and enjoying the views of “her cove” in Gray Gables. Pam loved to kayak and explore in her boat while taking advantage of all that living on the water had to offer. Pam is survived by her brother, Dick Mohre, his wife Janet, their three children, Jason, Jordan, Joy and their families. Pam also leaves behind extended family, friends and those she has helped along the way.
