Obituary for Peter “Pete” DuHamel Pete DuHamel, formerly of Michigan, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018. He was 63 years old. Pete was born January 12, 1955 to Paul and Jean DuHamel. He attended Ferris State College for a semester but was always and University of Michigan Wolverines fan. He moved to Colorado in 1978 where he spent his working life in jobs ranging from dental lab technician, electronic processing, CNA, and was a sterile processing tech at PVH until the time of his death from complications due to chemotherapy and bladder cancer. Pete married Dana L. Dunn on June 18, 1995 in Fort Collins, CO. They enjoyed 23 years of love together. He is survived by his wife, Dana, a brother, Mark, his wife Michelle, and their two children, Jessica and Grant. There will be a gathering of Pete’s friends soon to properly mourn the beloved man that was Pete DuHamel. He will be sorely missed.
