OBITUARY Patricia “Patsy” Ann Soileau Galik October 23, 1941 – December 28, 2018 Patricia “Patsy” Ann Soileau Galik, born October 23, 1941, in Melville, LA, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, in Baton Rouge, LA, at the age of 77. She retired from the State of Louisiana from the office of Disability Determinations, after 35 years of service. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Pete Clement Galik; sons, Kenneth Michael Galik, and Bradley “Brad” Clement and wife, Jodie; daughter, Norma “Susie” Goodwin and husband, Winston Brett; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria “Duggie” Shelton and Shirley Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Henry Soileau and Eva Sonnier; son, Paul Galik; and special friend, Marjorie Lucas. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM. A Requiem High Mass will conducted by Reverend Father Brennan Haenny on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3475 N. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, at 10:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, your prayers or memorial donations may be made in Pat’s name to St. Joseph Hospice.
