Obituary of Nunzio Scaringella Nunzio J. Scaringella, a lifelong resident of Yonkers passed away on December 4, 2018 at the age of 88. He was born in Yonkers, NY on January 8, 1930 to the late Vincent and Mary (nee Salvagione). Nunzio worked for many years in the auto body industry. He was an active member of the Dunwoodie Youth Association for many years. Nunzio is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Gilda (nee DiCola). Dear father of Lorraine (Pat) D’Ambrosio and Robert (Gina) Scaringella. Cherished grandfather of Patrick (Tricia) & Christine D’Ambrosio and Robert (Jessica), Angelina & Trisha Scaringella. Adored great grandfather of Ellie, Nicki and Hannah. Beloved brother of Charles & Mary and the late Joseph & Anthony. Nunzio is also survived by many nieces and nephews. “He was loved by all.” Funeral Mass Friday, December 7, 2018, 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Church , 670 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704.
