OBITUARY Morris E. Duncan June 15, 1926 – December 21, 2018 Morris E. Duncan, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown. He was born in Evansville on June 15, 1926, to Stanley and Virgie (Willett) Duncan. Morris had worked at Servel and National Furniture for several years. After National Furniture closed, he began buying rental properties. He loved race horses and had owned Green River Stable. Green River Stable was leading owner for two consecutive years in 1996 to 1997 at Ellis Park. In 2004 he bred the “Three-Year Old Filly of the Year” in Indiana named Speedy Tiffany. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue; and brother, Ernie Duncan. Morris is survived by his son, Steve Duncan of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Steve Duncan, Jr., Drake Duncan, and Tiffany Duncan; great grandchildren and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
