Obituary of Mina Marie Mitchell Mina Marie Mitchell, 61, of Bay City, our loving, caring, and selfless wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her home. Mina was born in Bay City on May 17, 1957, the daughter of the late Lawrence & May Decuf. She graduated with the Class of 1976 from Garber High School. It’s at Garber where she happened to meet William Mitchell. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on November 22, 1986. Mina enjoyed trips to the casino, was an avid Indy 500 fan, and was certainly a wonderful and supportive hockey mom. She was always putting the needs of others before her own. She was an Assistant Manager at Christopher & Banks where her outgoing personality was obvious to those she encountered. Her love for her family and friends will always live on. Mina leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband, Bill Mitchell and son, William “Billy” Mitchell (Tammy Walker). Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her siblings, Sheila (Roger) Bird, Ernie (Dorothy) Decuf; mother-in-law, Donna Weiler; former sister-in-law, Sherry Sullivan; in-laws, John (Laura) Weiler, Mike (Cindy) Mitchell, Julie Dolan, Patti Oullette, Peggy Mitchell, and Jennifer Weiler, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mina’s family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Tribute Ceremony officiated by Fr. Dale Orlik at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd., Hampton Twp. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
