OBITUARY Mike Reeves April 15, 1946 – December 29, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Our family is deeply saddened to inform that our patriarch, Charles Michael Reeves “Mike,” lost his courageous battle with melanoma early on the morning of Saturday, December 29, 2018. He was born April 15, 1946. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sherry; his daughters, Lisa Martin (Brian) and Loree Eckstein (John); his daughter-in-law, Jessica Towles-Reeves; sister, Dixie Gray; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lin and Ann Abercrombie. He will especially be missed by his grandchildren: Alix Eckstein Perry (Austin), Drew Eckstein, Caleb Reeves, Justin Eckstein, Brooke Martin, Jake Eckstein, Gabe Reeves, Eli Reeves, Grant Eckstein, Payton Martin, and Eden Reeves; his great-grandson, Reid Perry; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Leland and Frances Reeves; his brother Leland Reeves; his sister, Evelyn Lloyd Lattuga; and his beloved son, Christopher Michael Reeves. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 2, 2019, at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, located at 850 St. John’s Bluff Road N Jacksonville, FL 32225. There will be a reception immediately following at 12857 Ft. Caroline Road Jacksonville, FL 32225. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be considered to melanoma research in memory of Mike Reeves. HARDAGE-GIDDENS CHAPEL HILLS, 850 Saint Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, is serving the family.
