Obituary for Michael S. Sullivan Michael S. Sullivan, age 67 of Marion, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Michael entered into this world on July 18, 1951 to the late Edward L. and Joan. (Burris) Sullivan in Marion, Ohio. Michael was in the first class of MARCA School. He was an avid athlete in the Special Olympics in track and field, participating at the state games many times. He was also a manager of the MARCA Hawks Special Olympics basketball team. He loved bowling and was a member of the Handi-Capable Bowling League. He was a life-long fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State University. Michael loved people and he never knew a stranger. He will truly by missed by family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Joan Sullivan. Those who will cherish Michael’s memory are his brothers: Kirk (Roxanne) Sullivan of Marion, OH and Rex (Sarah) Sullivan of Marion, OH: his nieces: Shannon Sullivan of Chicago, IL and Lydia Sullivan of Marion, OH; and his nephews: Sean Sullivan and Owen Sullivan, both of Marion, OH. Friends and family may come to honor Michael’s life on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at the Caledonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Marion County Special Olympics in Michael’s memory.
