Obituary for Michael R. “Mick” Lohman Michael R. “Mick” (Mike) Lohman age 54 of Northfield, formerly of Zumbrota died on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from complications of cancer at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Rochester – St. Marys Hospital. The funeral service will be on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the United Redeemer Lutheran Church, 560 West 3rd Street, Zumbrota with Pastor Wayne Radke officiating. Burial will be in the Zumbrota Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home – Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Michael Richard Lohman was born on August 5, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN to James and Sandra (Erickson) Lohman. He grew up in Zumbrota and graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1983. Mick attended Dakota County Vo-Tech and graduated in 1985. Mick worked as a machinist for three different companies and was currently employed at Valmont in Farmington. Mick enjoyed hunting for deer, duck and squirrels and fishing for northerns. Mick is survived by his parents, Jim and Sandy Lohman of Zumbrota; two brothers, Scott (Jessie) Lohman of Minneapolis and Jon (Kate Boyko) Lohman of Bloomington; two nephews, Grant Lohman and Nico Lohman; aunts, uncle and cousins.
