Mary Sylvia Semones Myers December 15 2018

Mary Sylvia Myers, 95 Mary Sylvia Myers, 95 of Friendship, passed away on Saturday December 15, 2018 at her home after a long illness. She was born October 13, 1923 in Scioto County to the late Charles and Rosa Odle Semones. Along with her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Myers, a sister Marie Schiltz and 2 brothers; Arthur and Charles Semones. Mary worked at Friendship Grade School in the cafeteria and at the Quality Inn in Friendship. She also attended Dry Run Church of Christ. Mary is survived by a daughter Sue (Howard) Hamilton of Friendship, a son Arthur (Rose) Myers of Sandusky, 2 grandsons; Chris (Dana) Hamilton and Jay (Emily) Myers, 2 great grandchildren who she adored; Isabella and Christopher Hamilton, several nieces and nephews along with special niece Shelby Mullins and special nephew Bill Semones. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in west Portsmouth with Arthur Myers officiating and internet in Worley’s Run Cemetery. Friend may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
