Obituary for Mary Lou Burt BURT – Mary Lou Burt, aged 88, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Burt; son, Kenneth Burt; parents, Mike and Wilma Gorby. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Michael (Caren) Burt, Patrice Payne, Raymond Joel Burt, Pamela (Jack) Thomas, Peggy (Paul) Bronson; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild on the way; sister, Ruth Gleason. Mary Lou was a charter member of North Kent Presbyterian Church. She worked at Display Park before retiring. She volunteered at Steelcase’s Frank Lloyd Wright House and Grand Rapids’ historic Victorian Voigt House. She enjoyed traveling, cruises, and retirement at Pirates’ Cove in Western Kentucky. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with luncheon to follow.
