Margaret R. DeGasperis 77, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Dec. 8, 2018. She was born on May 21, 1941 to the late August and Mary (nee Tuccillo) Rubicco in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. Margaret and her husband Armando owned and operated the family business, MDG General Contracting in Hawthorne, N.Y. where she helped her husband run the business where she did most of the secretarial work and job estimates. Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Armando DeGasperis of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by her loving children, Salvatore A. (Maureen) Bossio of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. and Gina (Frank) Brescia of Putnam Valley, N.Y. one sister, Carole (Robert) Steck of Indianapolis, IN. also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Francis Brescia, Brenden Bossio, Travis Brescia, Samantha Bossio and Angelo Brescia. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
