Maggie Ora Lea Pugh, 90 of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mouth of Wilson, VA, on July 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Virginia (Little) Davis. She was the wife of the late Lester Pugh. Mrs. Pugh was a former member of Baptist Bible Church, Elkton, MD, where she was a longtime Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, cooking, and gardening. Survivors include her two sons: Michael R. Pugh (Andrea) and G. Steven Pugh (Diane) all of Elkton, MD; a sister: Pauline Smith of Bel Air, MD; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral service, conducted by Father John Schaeffer will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the Union Hospital Cancer Program or the American Cancer Society, both in care of the funeral home.
