Lynne Mellersten 1936 2018

Obituary for Lynne Mellersten Lynne Bauer Mellersten of Nyack, New York passed away peacefully with family beside her on November 25, 2018. The only daughter of Victor and Gertrude Bauer, she was 82. Lynne was a proud graduate of Nyack High School and Katherine Gibbs Secreterial School. She was passionate about architecture and worked for many years at Schofield and Colgan Architects. Lynne also took great joy in volunteering in her community. She was an avid gardener and an active member of the New York Botanical Society. Lynne is survived by her son, James Mellersten of Edisto Island, SC, her daughter Lorraine Camposeo of Middletown, NY and her daughter Janet McDonald of Naples, Fl; her grandchildren Matthew Mellersten, Nicholas Camposeo, Elizabeth Camposeo and Sarah Griffin. She was an adoring GiGi to her great-grandchildren Lucas and Emma Camposeo. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 29th from 4-8 pm at Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack with the funeral service on Friday, November 30th at 11am also at Hannemann Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be sent to People to People Inc of Nyack.
