Loretta Scott Beck, age 58 of Cameron passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 1, 1960 in Germany to Jesse Scott, Jr. and Mary Harkenrider Scott. Loretta was a member and very active in various ministries at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC. She formerly worked at Magneti Marelli Powertrain USA, Inc. Her latest passion in life was caring for, spending time with and loving her two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Beck of Cameron, NC; a son, James Beck Jr. of Southern Pines, NC; a daughter, Tiffany Fallon and husband Adam of Cameron, NC; two grandchildren: Owen Fallon and Quinn Fallon; her mother, Mary Scott of Lillington, NC; two sisters: Rinny Stephenson of Lillington, NC and Rhonda Scott of Lillington, NC; two brothers: Jesse J. Scott and wife Betsy of Raeford, NC and Randy Scott of Lillington, NC; two sister-in-laws: Jane Bryan and husband Clint of Pittsboro, NC and Laura King and husband Johnny of Sanford, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Scott Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Sanford with Fr. Jack Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 10 a.m.- 12 noon at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford.
