Obituary for Lorene Wiley Lorene Wiley, 71, of Interlachen, Fla., went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her residence following a brief illness. A native of Ranger, WV, Lorene had resided in Interlachen for the past 33 years, coming from Ranger. She was a homemaker and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling, singing gospel music and dancing the Jitterbug with her twin sister, Florene. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents, Green and Edith (Lambert) Cook; a daughter, Edith (Wiley) Dalton; three brothers, Ervin, Thomas and Harvey; and a sister, Violet. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Boyd Gene Wiley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Treasea and Michael Dorsey, and Lisa and Jimmy Campbell; a son, Boyd Gene Wiley, Jr.; two sisters, Louise Maynard and Florene Wiley; a brother, Danny Cook; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday January 2, 2019 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
