LOIS (SILCOX) ORDEAN, 86, of Sidney passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born on March 26, 1932 in Westbourne, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Brock) Silcox. On February 14, 1957, Lois married Kenneth Ordean, who preceded her in death August 1997. She is survived by three children, Thomas (Linda) Huddleston of Georgia, Paulette (John) Sarver of Sidney and Kenneth “Chip” (Melissa) Ordean II of Fort Loramie; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Bobbie Sue Leach of Toledo. Lois was preceded in death by three siblings, Leon Silcox, Leroy Silcox and Betty Hooser. Mrs. Ordean retired after 24 years as a Kitchen Worker at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. Lois loved to play bingo in her spare time. She was a member of the Calvary United Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 3, 2019 at noon at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor David Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10 AM up until the time of the service.
