Obituary of Karen Green Green, Karen Ann Karen, at the age of 58, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 26, 2018. She was born to her loving parents, Carl and Mary Lou Kline, on January 7, 1960. Karen was married to her faithful, loving husband, Gregory, of 33 years, and raised her two devoted daughters, Andrea and Brittany, in the ways of the Lord. She also loved her sons-in-law, Mike Temple and Matt Combs, as her own. She was a loving and adoring Nana to her sweet grandson, Valor Combs. Karen grew up with a loving sister, Laurie, and two loving brothers, Gary and Stewart. We all love and cherish her dearly. Her life radiated Christ and she was a blessing to her family. Proverbs 31:28 “Her children arise up, and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praiseth her.” She served Christ with all her heart and was faithful to Him to the end. Even in her brief battle with cancer, her faith was strong and steadfast; her desire was for the Lord to receive all the glory. She devoted her life to knowing the Lord and sharing Christ with others. Karen was a faithful daughter to her Heavenly Father and her relationship with Him was the very essence of her life. John 3:3,5 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” We invite family and friends to gather with us in celebration of Karen’s life on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY from 1-3pm with a service to follow.
