Obituary for Julia Nita Franke Julia Nita Franke, 95, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Julia was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 24, 1922 to the late Leon K. Dennis and Julia Kelly Dennis. Julia worked in the cafeteria at C.O. Wilson Middle School for 25 years. Those left to cherish Julia’s memory are her son, Henry Franke, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Nederland; her daughters; Susan Cooper and her husband, Bob of Nederland and Carol Wilkerson and her husband, Larry of Nederland; her sister, Ena Stoesser of Dayton, Texas, four granddaughters, three great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Henry Franke, Sr. A visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church in Nederland on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Nederland, Texas.
