Joy Machcinski of Cottage Park Rd., Winthrop passed away at home on December 28, 2018. She was 78 years old. Born in Buckingham, England she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Ann (Soton) and James Terry. A resident of Winthrop for over 46 years she was employed as a bookkeeper in the accounting field. She was a volunteer at the Willis School Library for many years. She also loved to read, shop and tinker in her garden but she especially loved chocolate. She was the devoted wife of Stephen Machcinski and the loving mother of Tracy Ann Machcinski of Winthrop. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Committal will be private.
