OBITUARY JOSEPHINE MCLEAN June 21, 1921 – December 24, 2018 Ms. Josephine Rosalie Veillon McLean, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at her home on December 24, 2018 at the age of 97. She was born in Opelousas, LA. She is survived by a son, John McLean III; daughters, Janet Whittington (Elvin), Carolyn Sharp (Leonard), Jo Anne McLean and Annette McLean; sisters, Claire Landry and Catherine Veillon; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Ram” McLean Jr., one daughter in law, two sisters and four brothers. Pallbearers will be, Gregory Veillon, Shane Whittington, Trevor Whittington, Kirk Dupre, David Dupre and Jeremy Sharp. Honoray pallbearers will be, Blake Albarez, Brandon Kallgren, Bailee Kallgren, Elton McLean and Brendon McLean. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Friday, December 28, 2018 from 9:00-11:30. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at noon on Friday, December 28.
