Joseph C Barker was born October 2, 1936 in Waco, Texas to the late Fred and Thelma Barker. Joe loved most any sport, as a young man he loved basketball and as an adult he loved golfing. He had a great love of coaching PeeWee Football and baseball, as well as refereeing and umpiring. Joe was a hard worker as a Warehouse Foreman for A&P and Aloe Vera of America. Joe married Bobbie Kirby on August 15, 1954. The two were married for 63 years before Bobbie preceded him in death December 2017. He and Bobbie had two children, Billy J Barker and Sandra Barker Bilyeu as well as daughter in law Maureen Barker and son in law the late Rick Bilyeu. Their grandchildren: William & Julie Bilyeu, Erin & Brody Thorne and David & Christina Bilyeu. And 2 great grandsons JJ Bilyeu and Colton Thorne. Joe was the oldest of his of his extremely loving siblings, Helen Crawford, Jennie Ayers (husband Bill), Doug Barker (wife Janice), Bobby Barker (wife Deborah), Pam Reeves (husband Bob) & Tim Barker (wife Jill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins!
