He served in the Reserves until 1961 when he was honorably discharged. John was predeceased earlier this year by the love of his life, his wife, Marion J. D’Ambrosio. His favorite pastimes were sailing his yacht “Utopia,” reading, and socializing with his closest friends and family. John enjoyed watching classic old movies. A man of sustaining faith, John was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and together with Marion, was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Irvington and San Marco Catholic Church in Marco Island. He loved attending mass and reciting the rosary. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
