Obituary for John E. Fisk Sr. TROY John E. Fisk Sr., 76, of 3rd Ave. died Saturday December 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. Born in Troy he was the son of the late John C. and Eva Kinne Fisk. He was a 1960 graduate of Shaker High School. John was retired from the NYS Department of Transportation. He was a veteran of the US Navy and had also served with the Army Reserve. He was a member of the American Legion, Mohawk Post #1450. He was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lansingburgh, had served on the Vestry, was a lay reader, usher and Superintendent of Sunday School at the church. He was a member of Apollo-King Solomon’s Lodge #13, F&AM and a Past Master of the former Phoenix Lodge. He was a member of Oriental Shrine and Palestine Star Chapter OES, having served as Patron several times and as District Grand Lecturer. Survivors include his loving wife Lois Mitchell Fisk, his devoted children, Denise Casale (Robert), John Fisk Jr. (Paula) and Daniel Fisk (Kay). He is the brother of Carol Shepard, the late Vicki Gallant and his twin sister Joan Fiske. He is the proud grandfather of Kristina and Ryan Casale, Taylor, Maxwell and Daniel Fisk and Darrin Jerome. He is the brother in law of Lawrence Shepard, William Gallant, James and William Mitchell, William Coons, Bonnie Forgett, John MacWhinnie, Vincent, Michael, and Joseph DelGuidice, Catherine Rana, the late Linda Coons and David Mitchell. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:15 am from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., (Rte.32), Waterford and at 10 am at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
