OBITUARY Joey Taylor September 14, 2001 – December 4, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Joe “Joey” A. Taylor III, 17, passed away December 4, 2018. He was born on September 14, 2001, in Jonesboro, AR. He was a junior at Houston High School in Germantown, TN. A loving son and friend, Joey enjoyed spending time with friends, video games, participating in theater, and classic cars. Joey worked at Kroger in Germantown, where he was a hard worker who could be seen pushing carts, bagging groceries, interacting with customers and his fellow employees. Because of his long, red hair and tall build, Joey always stood out in the crowd and made a positive impression on so many people. He loved his Jeep, and could often be seen in one of his favorite flannel shirts while wearing a pair of boots from his large boot collection. Joey was the only child of Emily Berry Hall and his step-father Michael Hall with whom he was very close. He is survived by one uncle: Greg Berry of Memphis, TN and one aunt Tamra Chavis (Randy), of Jonesboro, AR; half-brother and sister Hayden and Kylie Taylor of Jonesboro, AR; and a very special great-aunt Marilyn Blackburn of Jonesboro, AR. Joey was preceded in death by his father, Joe A. Taylor, Jr; paternal grandparents Joe and Joyce A. Taylor, Sr.; maternal grandparents Allen and Catherine Berry. Collierville Funeral Home has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. A private family graveside service will be held at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR. Pallbearers will be James Pruss, Jackson Pruss, James Greener, Mike Koberlein, James Bradley, and Mark Nix. Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney Greener.
