OBITUARY Jewell K. Pressley July 26, 1942 – December 19, 2018 Jewell K. Pressley, 76, of Evansville passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home. She was born July 26, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late John W. and Nellie L. (Lane) Lively. She was known by the title “School Mom” at Mill Road Christian School and Faith Heritage Christian School. Jewell also worked as a crossing guard. She loved being a wife, mother to her three sons and “Granny” and “Grandma” to her seven grandchildren. Jewell is survived by her husband of 56 years, Homer W. Pressley; sons, Roger Pressley (Tammy), Eddie Pressley (Maria) and David Pressley (Lisa) and grandchildren, Eric and Jeremy Pressley, Tyler, Trevor, Tanner, Tucker and Tamber Pressley. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2018 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Briscoe and Pastor Alec Hensley, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
